bodybuilding?

Jermaine J asked:

Ive been training now for 3years on and off whilst in jail and out on road. I feel that iv gained alot of benifts whilst training. I have a good work out routine for myself an i also have a good training partner who is stronger than me so i feel that helps as he is able to motivate and push me.

Iv been stuck now for around 3months with being able to bench press anything over 100kg, i dont know if this is because i only weigh 10st but my maximum lift is only now 90kg.
I would like some advice please as all i do is train eat and rest and cant see any improvement.

I would recommend hitting a few sites and forums: bodybuidling.com is a great source of information.

It sounds like you have it a plateau in benching, are you working on your triceps, back, shoulders etc? As all these can help to increase your bench, without these vital muscles being trained hard you will never increase.

Also look at some safe supplements, stay clean, don't do roids, sleep, good diet and don't over train 1 part of your body, never train the same part of your body in a 24hr period.

Good luck and heavy lifting!

you reached to your plateau and you have to face it. this is very positive and needed since it shows you advance well. you need to empower your muscles for this task. proper supplement timing will do the job in 2-3 week max. low reps 4-6 and high overload to failure are potent tools that will facilitate your breaking the borders you are facing now . check this links , do email me if you need more assistance I'll be happy to help you

100kg at 10 stone is strong.

Theres many ways in which to overcome a bench platuea. First you should eat more. More often than not, this alone will work.

Failing that theres bottom position bench (starting at the bottom position to practice xplosive movement) and board presses (in which boards are held in the chest limiting and focusing upon the weak point of your bech press movement).

Go checkout post your question in the beginners cage and you will get tons of relative info and support.
