Is my workout plan and diet plan going to help me burn my belly fat?

jon c asked:

Hi, I have a few questions about burning my belly fat. first off, i am 5'7" and weigh 195 lbs. I have been on a workout plan i came up with for a couple of months now and I have lost about 15 lbs but i still have a good amount of belly fat. I run a mile every day before i work out, and i have increased my time from 9 min to 7 min. On Monday, i do my baseball workout(all shoulder, rotator cuff, and wrist exercises with a 5 lb weight), Abs(crunches, knee crunches, bicycles, toe touches, Plank on Elbows and Toes, ab machine, captains chair, and a couple more i got from a magazine while lifting). On Tuesday I do a full leg workout and Abs. On Wednesday, i do my baseball training, full back workout, and Abs. On Thursday, I do bi's and tri's, and then abs. On friday i do the same thing i do on Monday except add a cardio workout at the end like the bike or elliptical. For my diet, I am having a bowl of cereal with a banana for breakfast, A sandwich on whole wheat bread, and for dinner i either have chicken with vegetables, or a 6 inch sub at subway. I also throw in 2 snacks a day, either being nutrition snack bars, or fruit. I then take the weekend off to rest but still continue with my diet. Now, since i gave my whole workout and diet plan, i want to know if i am doing the right thing to burn the fat on my belly because i know i have a 6 pack but you cant see it because of my belly fat. Am i doing the correct thing? Is there something else i need to do or that i could do to help? Are these exercises helping my metabolic response increase so i can burn my body fat? If anyone could give me some solid advise, that would be awesome! If you took your time to read this, i appreciate it a lot!

Muscle Growth?

LeBear asked:

I am recently taking up bodybuilding, and heard from someone that if your muscle hurts the next day, it means that the muscle is tearing and healing - which in the process, the muscle is growing. I had those pain during the first week of work out and the pain is gradually losing bit by bit after a week or two. Question is, does it really mean that my muscle aint growing if I dont feel pain in the muscles I've worked out?

Workout unhealthy?

Rahhot asked:

Metaphorical Question: Person A
I'm doing a workout but I'm a little concerned I'm getting my heart rate up too high. I'm average fitness, just recently, about a month ago, I've started doing cardiovascular exercise 4-6 times a week within my target heart rate.

If this constitutes me being average fitness, my target heart rate should be between 124 - 166 beats per minute during a workout. If this still means I'm a low fitness (I have a lil bit of belly flab) my target heart rate should only be between 102 - 124. Now my problem is that in this workout my heart rate gets around 170-180ish beats per minute.

The Women's Way Some Recommended Bodybuilding Supplements

The Women's Way: Some Recommended Bodybuilding Supplements

A woman's sport as well. Bodybuilding is known to be for "the boys" only. However, these days it has grown its popularity to the female population.

Bodybuilding for women is not solely for muscle build-up, they do it for several reasons such as to achieve a desired size, increase in strength, and most importantly confidence.

The bodybuilding supplements utilized by the male species are different from those supplements for women. For instance, testosterone booster is not applicable for women since it may result to deepening of voice and more hair growth.

Wearing Body Building Clothes

Wearing Body Building Clothes

If you are an avid gym rat then you know that you need to have some special clothes for when you work out. Jeans and a t-shirt simply don't cut it in the gym because they are restrictive in terms of the motion you can employ as well as the fact that they are totally uncomfortable. Needless to say, the way around this would be to purchase a nice set of body building clothes that would be more appropriate for the gym and workout session.
